A fragrance of transition and transcendence capturing the solitary tolling of a chapel bell across a mist-laden harbor, this scent opens with a bracing, salt-sprayed burst of bergamot, hinoki wood, and balsam fir needle, beautifully mimicking the clean clarity of sea air at dusk. As it develops, the heart reveals a sacred architecture, casting a veil of meditative smoke over the waves with a deep, reverent blend of frankincense and rich Peru balsam. Finally, the base unfolds into a serene, permanent foundation of dry cedarwood, dark vetiver, smooth vanilla, and musk, leaving a sprawling, woody-resinous trail that feels both profoundly grounding and beautifully ethereal.

Vespers is an olfactory journey that takes you to a harborside memory of your past. One that needs to be experienced to appreciate it fully!
Smells like burning incense on a wooden boat at sea. Wonderful.
Different from other Veritas Fragrances, but still very well done. Incense and pine make this a more sophisticated wear.
This was a blind buy, and I will just say that its not a scent profile I wear but thats not to say it isnt good. I got another fragrances in this order and 4 samples and loved all of them.
